
Birth and Death Certificates
The cost is $25.00 each for Certified Birth/Death Certificates.
Records on file are from 1908 to present; earlier records are located at the Sandusky County Probate Court. At this health department, certificates are provided on demand if arriving in person. Certificates requested via US Mail have same day turn around.
All birth and death records from the state of Ohio are available at the Sandusky County Health Department.
To obtain a copy of a certified birth or death certificate by mail, you may send a letter of request with a S. A. S. E. (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope), and a check made payable to the Sandusky County Public Health:
