Manufactured Home Parks

On January 21, 2018, in result of the House Bill 49, the Ohio Manufactured Homes Commission (OMHC) was abolished, and the Manufactured Homes Program became regulated by the Ohio Department of Commerce. In overseeing the Manufactured Homes Program, the Department has jurisdiction over the installation of manufactured homes; the licensing and regulation of manufactured home park operators, installers, dealers, brokers, and salespersons; and the certification and regulation of inspectors and inspection agencies. Responsibility for the Manufactured Homes Program falls under both the Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing (REPL) and the Division of Industrial Compliance (DIC). The Ohio Department of Commerce can be accessed at:

We currently partner with the Ohio Department of Commerce in performing the inspections on their behalf for the parks in Sandusky County.
